Construction & Pattern Making
Want to build something, but can't find a pattern and you're not really sure what materials will work best to create your idea? This class will cover those questions. It is recommended to have an idea or object you wish to create when you arrive.

Leather Carving & Stamping
6:15pm
This class will address the art of transfering images onto the leather, how to properly use a swivel knife and what tools to give your picture depth and texture. If you are a novice carver you will want this class before taking the second part scheduled for 11/2/10. However, in taking this class you will not be obligated to attend the second part.

Mask Making
Just in time for Halloween, but masks are fun for any occasion. Create a wearable mask or wall piece. Students need to bring a blow dryer and any object you think may work well to shape over or pull or twist.

Carving & Stamping continued
This will be the second part of the class held on October 5th. However, each student will need to have their project 90% finished. We will quickly cover creative stamping ideas and introduce coloring and finishing techniques. The first class is not necessary if you are only interested in dying and staining techniques.

Molding "Cuir Boilli"
Yes, that is French and means to boil leather. We will not be boiling leather, but will be wet forming. Everyone will do the same project in this class. There may be some leather jewelry ideas introduced
